Pure Funk’s young and energetic teachers specialise in Street and Break dance interactive events for all ages, abilities, and walks of life!
Our ‘Dance Off’ teambuilding workshop is ideal for groups who have a zest for life – and a sense of humour! In the 2 hours, highly experienced Pure Funk workshop leaders will take the group through a vocabulary of dance moves such as waves, robotics, top rock, cobblers wheel, the six step, to name but a few, and then prepare a routine for the group that will move into an MTV/Run DMC style ‘dance battle’ between two sides - with authentic Pure Funk kitchen lino included!
With an ‘up for it’ team, the end results can quite often be hilarious and will have your staff members ‘moon walking’ down the corridors for months after! Add costume and accessories by advising the staff to come dressed to impress – tracksuits, legwarmers, baggy combats, baseball caps, bandanas, and don’t forget the ‘Bling’ (not too much – health and safety first).
Pure Funk can also adapt their dance workshops to specific themes e.g. Wild West, Gangsters, Pop group / Girl or Boy band theme, etc. Please give details of your idea and we can tailor make a workshop for your event.
